about Jim Cate

Jim Jim is a Senior Mortgage Consultant with imortgage’s San Diego Branch office located in La Mesa California. He has been providing loan services for over 27 years in San Diego County. During that time he has served as a Branch Manager; Sales trainer, and mentor to new loan officers, using his extensive knowledge of FHA/VA and Conventional loan experience to aid new loan officers and get the best financing for his clients.

He graduated from SDSU with a major in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. In 1981 he discovered his true passion was in helping his customers obtain the financing to buy their homes that they could raise their families in.

In his spare time Jim is actively involved in community service. He has served as East County Special Olympics chair 2006-2009; Board of Directors of the Alpine Kiwanis; Admissions chair for the San Diego Coalition for the Homeless Christmas Toy give away 2007-2009, and is an active member of the East County senior Service Providers.

Jim’s extensive lending Knowledge and varied community services inspire trust and loyalty with clients throughout San Diego.
